Stillness and Glory: The Spirituality of Michael Ramsey

Michael Ramsey (1904-1988) was the 100th Archbishop of Canterbury and one of the most outstanding Christian leaders of the twentieth century. He left a legacy of writings that contains a remarkable body of spiritual theology and teaching. Our May Quiet Morning will explore some of Ramsey’s key themes: personal holiness, the centrality of the scriptures, the unity of the Church, servant leadership, and the vital need for a deep life of prayer. The Quiet Morning commences at 10.00am and concludes with the eucharist at 12.30pm. Please contact the Dean, Fr James Rigney by e-mail [email protected] or by post if you wish to attend. We welcome a minimum donation of $5.00 towards costs associated with the morning.
